DESCRIPTION:<p> PUBLIC NOTICE</p>The Okeechobee County Code Enforcement Special Magistrate will hold regular monthly meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 9:00 a.m. in the Okeechobee County Health Department Auditorium, 1728 NW 9th Avenue, Okeechobee, Florida.&nbsp;<br><br>Prior to each meeting date, the agenda for that meeting will be available at the Community Development Department, 1700 NW 9th Avenue, Suite A, and on the Okeechobee County website.<br><br>Members of the public shall have the opportunity to be heard at public meetings.&nbsp; Any person deciding to appeal any decision by the Special Magistrate with respect to any matter considered at a meeting or hearing will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made and that the record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal will be based.&nbsp; Community Development Department tapes are for the sole purpose of backup for official records of the department.<br><br>For further information on the meeting schedule or a particular meeting, contact the Community Development Department at 863‑763‑5548.<br>
