Purpose

The Early Learning Coalition of Indian River, Martin, and Okeechobee Counties, Inc. was created to oversee and improve the readiness and successful outcomes of children from birth to kindergarten age in the community as defined in Chapter 1002, Florida Statutes.

Membership Details

• The Governor appoints the Chair and two additional private sector members. A maximum of 19 members may serve on the Coalition board. 

Appointment Terms

• The terms of the five (5) members are appointed to serve staggered four (4) year terms.
